Harvey’s Scarecrow Trail is a creative community event bringing together art and adventure. Aimed at all ages, Harvey’s Scarecrows challenge you to get creative and get outdoors. 

Originally created to help raise live saving funds for 9 year old Harvey Hext and his cancer treatment, the annual scarecrow trail is now made every year in his memory and raises money for A Sibling’s Wish. The charity is Harvey’s legacy and works to support children coping with the difficulties of losing a loved one. Build a scarecrow or follow the trail, and your donation will help a bereaved child.

All monies raised from the sale of the scarecrow trail map are donated to A Sibling’s Wish and for 2019 will be used to supply all schools across North Somerset and BANES with bereavement support packs. The pack includes 6 books covering everything from the loss of a pet to the loss of a family Member, plus a book on anxiety and workbooks to help adults and children engage in conversation.
